Welcome to Locate Me. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.
These Terms of Service apply to all users of the service, including but not limited to individual users, organizations, and team members.
Locate Me is a location-sharing platform designed for teams and organizations to coordinate across different locations and timezones. The service provides:
- Approximate location sharing within organizations (rounded to ~55km radius)
- Timezone coordination and visibility
- Traveling status indicators
- Team member location visualization on interactive globes
- Privacy controls for location visibility
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with or without notice.
Account Creation
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must be at least 13 years old to use this service
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts
Account Security
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security
Organization Management
- Organization administrators are responsible for managing their team members
- Administrators must ensure invited members have consented to joining
- Organizations must comply with all applicable data protection laws
When using Locate Me, you agree to:
- Provide accurate location information when sharing your location
- Use the service only for legitimate team coordination purposes
- Respect the privacy of other users
- Not attempt to access or monitor other users' data without authorization
- Not use the service to harass, stalk, or harm others
- Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws
- Not interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
You may not use Locate Me to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' accounts
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the service
- Use the service for surveillance or tracking without consent
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
- Use automated systems to access the service without permission
- Share false or misleading location information with malicious intent
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate termination of your account.
Location Sharing Consent
By using Locate Me, you consent to sharing your approximate location with members of organizations you join. You can control your location visibility at any time through your privacy settings.
Location Accuracy
- All locations are approximated to a 0.5° grid (~55km radius)
- We do not store or display exact coordinates
- Location data is intended for general coordination, not precise tracking
- You are responsible for updating your location when you move
Privacy Controls
You have the right to hide your location at any time. When hidden, your location will not be visible to any organization members, but you can still view others' locations.
The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Union25 LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the service (such as profile information and status messages). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content as necessary to provide the service.
Service Provided "As Is"
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Location Data Accuracy
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of location data. Location information is approximate and should not be relied upon for critical decisions or emergency situations.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Union25 LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the service
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the service
- Any bugs, viruses, or malicious code transmitted through the service
- Any errors or omissions in any content or location data
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.
All provisions of these Terms of Service which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Union25 LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your access to or use of the service
- Your violation of these Terms of Service
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including privacy or intellectual property rights
- Any harm caused to any third party through your use of the service
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms of Service or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time at our sole discretion. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of the service after any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the service.
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the remainder of these Terms of Service, which shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Union25 LLC regarding the use of the service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
